Even though I've been afraid on some level to become a parent, because I was afraid I would become my ex-husband, I'm NOT my ex, and I need to remember this when I'm disciplining my daughter. Because she deserves to be raised right, and not be raised to be a heathen. I owe her that. And I can do that. Because I am me. Not my ex.
